The hit Irish comedy from producers Vico Films will be back on BBC Three for a third series in the new year. Created by Peter Foott, The Young Offenders tells the coming of age adventures of Conor (Alex Murphy) & Jock (Chris Walley) and their mother/guardian Mairead (Hilary Rose) as she tries to keep them on the straight and narrow. The best friends navigate their awkward teenage years, hatching plans and adventures to help distract from their tough home lives and their inability to stay out of trouble. The whole second series launched as a BBC iPlayer box-set earlier this month and has picked up an amazing 4.1 million requests so far. Combined with the 13.5 million for series one and last year’s Christmas special, that over 17.6 million requests to date. Kate Daughton, Head of BBC Comedy, says: Young Offenders is spit-your-tea out funny and heartbreakingly emotional. A rare combination that’s testament to the talents and passion of a very special cast, crew and writing team, led by creator and show-runner Peter Foott. Salisbury focuses on the impact the 2018 Novichok poisonings had on the local community. Salisbury captures the bravery, resilience and, in some cases, personal tragedy of the unsuspecting locals, who faced a situation of unimaginable horror so close to home. With the imminent release of Rose Matefeo’s brand new romcom Starstruck on BBC Three at the end of April, this coming year marks a watershed moment in broadcasting history with most BBC Three comedy either starring, written by or created by women. BBC Three will be the first UK channel to achieve this landmark in female representation with 58% of long-form scripted comedy written by women. Upcoming titles include Lazy Susan, Starstruck and Ellie and Natasia plus the second series of both In My Skin and Back to Life. In addition to this, the BBC today announces four new BBC Comedy Slices for BBC Three, all of which are written by and/or star female talent: Ladybaby, Amicable, Dinosaur and Britney, which results in the majority of comedy programmes on BBC Three now being female led. Kate Daughton, outgoing Head of Comedy at the BBC, says: Building on the huge success of Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Daisy May Cooper, this marks a monumental achievement and is testament to the fact the most pioneering and exciting new voices in comedy are increasingly female. Kate leaves the Comedy Commissioning team today having made a tremendous impact overseeing a raft of female first titles. 《指环王》导演彼得·杰克逊打造的披头士新纪录片《The Beatles：Get Back》要推出了。迪士尼前CEO、现董事会执行主席Bob Iger在年度股东大会上宣布：该片定档于9月4日北美上映。
此前该片透露的信息是：记录的是披头士如何录制出经典名曲&专辑《Let It Be》。基于长达55小时的此前未曝光录像，包括披头士在录音室中制作的少见画面，拍摄时间为1969年1月2日-31日。1970年5月，《Let It Be》专辑发行，而当时乐队刚分崩离析。录像高潮为披头士那场著名演出——在伦敦萨维尔街苹果唱片公司总部旧址屋顶上的表演。
这段录像本来是用来做一个特别节目的，现用在纪录片上。此外还有140小时的音频。
